Kristina Paltén, a single Swedish woman, started her run through Iran on September 5, 2015. She was to become the first woman ever to run across Iran. For two months running 1144 miles, Kristina challenged herself, her own fears of the unknown and her prejudices about what a muslim country means for a single woman.
André is a Swedish photojournalist focusing on human rights, politics and environmental issues. «Alone through Iran – 1144 miles of trust» is his first full length film. He has worked extensively around the world. André previously worked with several development organizations such as ActionAid Myanmar, Danish Church Aid and Novell Gaza.
Shamim is an Iranian filmmaker based in southern Sweden. He has previously worked as a TV-correspondent in the Balkans for Iranian National Television. Shamim has an extensive filmography including several documentary films and a few fiction films.
