Niloofar lives with her aged mother, and stays busy with her alterations shop. When doctors insist that her mother must leave smoggy Tehran for her respiratory health, the family elders decide that she must also move away to accompany her mother. Now Niloofar is torn between family loyalty and living her own life.
Behnam Behzadi was born in 1972 in Boroujen, Iran and obtained a diploma in cinema from the faculty of “Seda & Cima” in Tehran in 1995. Over the past few years he has written scripts, worked in editing and collaborated with various scriptwriters including Bahman Ghobadi. After making some programs for TV, his first short film Retaliation gained an international success, winning the second prize of FIPA 2000 in France.
