Aida, a 35-year-old Iranian girl living in Paris, returns to Tehran after a few years to receive a sperm donation from an Iranian boy, based on their past agreement. Shortly after arriving at Tehran, however, he ditches her and disappears. Aida and her friend Berkeh try to find a new suitable donator, but this turns out to more difficult than expected.
Oveisi was born in 1979 in Iran. He has made more than 10 short films and produced trailers for famous film companies. From 2007 to 2008, he participated in Abbas Kiarostami‘s workshops, where he directed some short films and produced a play. At present he works as a lecturer at the Elmi Kalbordi Tehran Art University.
