Synopsis
A teenage boy (Omid) lives in a village, almost impassable. The roads to this village are blocked 6 months a year due to the heavy snow. Omid is trying hard to save his wife and his unborn baby’s lives, but as a result of breaking his oath, nobody in the village is willing to help him.
Director
Marjan Khosravi is an Iranian female filmmaker, born in 1996 in Shahrekord. She is studding Cinema and Media Art and after 9 years writing, studying and working in cinema and film production backstage, in 2018 she made a short documentary «The Price of Blood» as her first experience which was admired in many national festivals, «Snowy Mother» is her second experience primarily screened in Tehran short film festival and Fajr Film Festival in 2019, «The Snow Calls» is her second documentary experience selected for the competition section in the 33rd IDFA festival and had its premiere in November 2020 in this festival. «Womanly Migration» is her first Feature-Length documentary and «Vadiyar» is her second short fiction film which will be presented in 2021.
