A remote village suffers from economic recession for many years. The villagers have whether immigrated to cities or are in poverty. However, there is a guest for the village who has been born there and she’s left the village about 20 years ago. She’s very rich. The villagers are dreaming of her as a savior to help all. She arrives and promises to build and develop the village and make everyone rich, but just for one condition! A condition which is very challenging for the whole village!
Born in 1984 in Behshahr, Iran, Mohsen Gharaei is a graduate of Mining Engineering. He started his film career as an assistant director in 2006 and he’s been assistant director of some of most prestigious Iranian filmmakers like Bahram Bayzai, Reza Mirkarimi, Majid Majidi and Mohsen Abdolvahab. He’s been involved in casting, editing and line production of a number of film projects too. He co-directed his first feature film, “Don’t Be Tired!” together with Afshin Hashemi in 2013 and “Blockage” (2017) as his first independent feature film which was shown and awarded in many film festivals around the world. He’s also written script for Reza Mirkarimi’s award-winning film, Castle of Dreams (2019).
