Born in 1975 in Tehran, Mohsen Tanabandeh is an actor, screenwriter and director. He is a graduate of Acting from the Art and Architecture University, and started his career in 1992 in theater. Tanabandeh made his directing debut in 2015 with his comedy Guinness. He is also known as an actor in his award-winning role as Azim in Afghanistan’s Oscar submission, Rona, Azim’s Mother. The Oath is his second feature film.
