Nurse Sara likes to end her patients’ suffering, even if their families don’t know. However, doubt arises during her latest assignment: is this comatose man truly destined to die?
Majid Barzegar (1973, Iran) studied graphic design and has a Master’s in Dramatic Literature. With the scriptwriter Hamed Rajabi, he has made several short films. In 2005 he founded the production company Rainy Pictures to help stimulate independent film production in Iran. His first feature, Rainy Seasons (2010), was nominated for the Tiger Award. Parviz (2012) earned him a special mention at San Sebastián International Film Festival. With financial support of the Hubert Bals Fund, he directed A Very Ordinary Citizen, which premiered at the 2015 Chicago International Film Festival. The Rains Falls Where It Will (2021) is his fourth feature film, with its world premiere at IFFR.
