Ensi and Zabih are a married couple living in a suburb of Tehran with temporary work. Ensi takes care of an old woman suffering from Alzheimers and Zabih works as a construction welder for sykscrapers. The young couple is happy in spite of living in limbo. While she‘s expecting a baby, an unexpected event happens.
Born in 1984 in Isfahan, Iran, Majid-Reza Mostafavi is a graduate of Art. He started his film career in Isfahan Film Center and was mostly involved in editing of short, documentary and feature films. His short films includes Bina’s Hands, Revolving Mills, The Brick Wall. Unripe Pomegranate is his debut feature film.
